Secret of the Tsunami

 Chapter 1

    Once upon a time there was a boy named Max. He was born in Indonesia. When he was 1, he started learning how to speak. He learned how to speak by the time he was 3. When he was 4, he was in pre-school. When he was 5, he was in kindergarten and learnt about tsunamis. Then he got curious.

Chapter 2 

    When he was 6, in the summer he went  to the beach with his family to study about  tsunamis and made a chart for it. But, in an hour it was time to go home.He was sad that he didn't see a tsunami. On the way home he slept and dreamed about tsunamis. He woke up with a dream of tsunamis. It was, he was walking peacefully when he tripped over a sea shell. When he heard the ocean in the shell, all around him the ocean appeared. He again wanted to see a tsunami. But all he saw was a blue skyscraper because he was used to the town.

Chapter 3

    But the blue skyscraper was a huge tsunami! It was coming towards him! Just when he was going to run away, in a flash he was swept into the sea. He looked for help inside the sea. He saw an underwater palace! He swam down in hope of help.He opened  the door and saw little aliens. But, the biggest, was the King. When Max met him, he looked scary. But he was kind. "What should I dooo for youuu?" The King asked. "I want to get on the surface," Max whined. "You mean on the laand? Borrow this ship.But be careful. A Seeea Monster lives in the water." The King explained.

Chapter 4

    Max was really happy that he will soon be out of the water. He thanked the King for his kindness. He followed the King's directions and he was safe on land...It was just a dream! Was Max wet? Where was the sea? Since he was still dreamy, he followed his dream and asked silly questions to his family. Where is the sea?  How come I am dry?
That day on, he knew that tsunamis are dangerous.

Paul Revere

    Paul Revere was born in Love Ln, Boston. He was busy  since he was three. When he was twenty, the British sailed in a ship in which they were selling tea for a low price. Paul Revere and his friends didn't like that British get money. So, they dressed like Indians, boarded the ship and threw the tea off the ship into the water.

    They went off the ship and changed. When the King Charles heard this, he sent soldiers to fight. When Paul heard this, he jumped on his horse and cried" THE BRITISH ARE COMING !!!.''

    John Hancock and Samuel Adams made papers and plans. When they forgot the box of papers and plans, Paul and John Lowell got the box of papers and plans successfully in the middle of the fight.

Fact: Paul got captured 2 times. He was pretty smart so he escaped.

    School is fun. We do many activities such as Math, Geography, Science, and recess. Recess? you bet. Recess is a break from school. We get recess 3 times a day!
 
    Math is my second-favorite subject.
        8-7=_? Whats the answer? (8-7=1) This is an example of subtraction. Addition is 8+7=_? Whats the answer? (8+7=15). You could label too; 8 fish+7 fish=15 fish (remember, if you label fish, your answer should be fish).

Farmers Market

    Farmers Market was full of fresh produce such as cheese (my favorite), meat, pumpkins for Halloween, candies, and breads. I've always wanted to go to Farmers Market. Finally, I went there on 10/9/11.

AYSO Camp

    When I came to AYSO, I was shy.Then I wanted to go home.But then I realized I liked soccer. But it was time for practice. There was seven children at a plain field with orange flags. Then I practiced for an hour. We took water breaks in-between. Next Saturday, it was a real game. From the practice, we won. Our coaches gave one of the best soccer player a golden badge(I got one too). This went on for eight weeks. I guess I liked AYSO. 

My Biking Trip

    I suggested to go biking at a trail. Dad said, we can go. We didn't have a bike carrier to hold the bikes so we put them in the trunk. It was a bumpy ride so I held the bikes.

    At the bike trail, we took the bikes out and were ready for action! We rode for 3 miles and at the end of  3 miles, we rested near a pond. Then I spotted a turtle swimming in the pond. "DADDY! I FOUND A TURTLE!" I shouted. "Calm down.Calm down" Daddy said. We looked and I amused my dad. "Wow Shreyas" Daddy said.

    We biked  for 3 more miles. Then we stopped for juice. Then, we headed home with our bikes in the car.     "That was fun" I said. "It was. What was your favorite part?" asked Daddy. "Of course; the turtle" I said. "I knew it!" said Daddy.

Egg & Cheese Flat

I invented the recipe for what I call "Egg and Cheese flat". I asked my dad to make it for me and here is what it came out to be:

Here is the recipe for my "Egg and Cheese flat":

Contents:

• Egg - 1
• Whole wheat bread - 1
• American cheese slice - 1
• Salt - 1 pinch
• Spinach - 2 leaves
• Tomato - a few pieces

Recipe:

• Take one egg
• Break it in a cup
• Cut spinach in small pieces
• Cut tomato in small pieces
• Put spinach, tomato and a pinch of salt in the cup with egg
• Beat them thoroughly
• Heat up a pan
• Pour the mixture in the pan
• When its brown and cooked, cut it in four square pieces
• Take American cheese and cut it in two square pieces (same size as the egg pieces)
• Take wheat bread and cut off the edges
• Cut the bread in two pieces, same size as the egg pieces
• Heat the bread pieces slightly (don't let them turn brown)
• Put one cheese piece on top of each bread
• Put two egg pieces on top of each bread

A scrumptious Egg & Cheese flat is ready to be served... yummmmm!
